Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026. This policy explains how TerpTrade handles information for its private B2B wholesale marketplace.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to TerpTrade's website, admin console, wholesaler workspace, retailer workspace, catalog, ordering, messaging, campaign, notification, analytics, import, and support tools. TerpTrade is intended for business users and not for consumer cannabis purchases.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information needed to operate a controlled B2B marketplace, including account profile details, business contact details, login and authentication data, role and permission data, license and compliance records, product and catalog data, inventory, retailer access decisions, messages, carts, orders, order status updates, payment term settings, commission records, messages, notification preferences, campaign activity, support requests, audit logs, uploaded documents, and device or usage data.
3. Sources
We collect information from users, account owners, invited team members, wholesalers, retailers, admins, connected catalog or inventory systems, payment or billing providers, email and notification providers, support communications, browser and device signals, and compliance or public licensing sources where available.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify roles and licenses, approve marketplace access, show role-appropriate catalog data, process messages and orders, support payment terms and commission tracking, send transactional and marketplace notifications, manage campaigns and suppression lists, provide customer support, maintain audit logs, detect misuse, improve product workflows, run analytics, comply with law, and enforce TerpTrade policies.
5. Role-Scoped Visibility
TerpTrade separates admin, wholesaler, and retailer access. Information may be visible to other users only when their role, account relationship, catalog approval, order relationship, message thread, team membership, or support responsibility allows it. Certain direct contact, legal, license, address, payment, and fulfillment details may be hidden or redacted until the relationship stage or compliance review allows disclosure.
6. Sharing
We may share information with authorized account users, marketplace counterparties involved in a relevant catalog, order, or message, service providers that help operate TerpTrade, professional advisors, payment or notification providers, compliance reviewers, law enforcement or regulators when required, and parties involved in a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets. We do not sell private marketplace contact lists as a standalone data product.
7. Email, Push, And Campaigns
TerpTrade may send transactional, account, compliance, security, order, support, and marketplace messages. Where required, marketing or campaign messages include unsubscribe or preference controls. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent important transactional, security, legal, or account administration messages.
8. Cookies And Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session security, preferences, app performance, analytics, and fraud prevention. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete some storage, but doing so may affect login, security, and app functionality.
9. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and how privacy laws apply to business contact data, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about how we process personal data. Some laws also provide rights to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling. TerpTrade will evaluate requests according to applicable law and may need to verify your identity and account authority before acting.
10. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where legally required, TerpTrade will honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms for activities covered by those laws. Because TerpTrade is a private B2B marketplace, some opt-out requests may not apply to transactional, security, compliance, account, or marketplace relationship processing.
11. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide TerpTrade, maintain account and marketplace records, preserve audit history, support dispute resolution, enforce agreements, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, and maintain security. Cannabis marketplace records, license records, order records, commission records, campaign records, and audit logs may need to be retained after an account becomes inactive.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including role-based access, account authentication, access controls, audit logs, and service provider controls. No system is completely secure, so users must protect credentials, use authorized devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
13. Children
TerpTrade is not directed to children or consumers under 21. Users must be authorized business representatives. We do not knowingly allow minors to create TerpTrade marketplace accounts.
14. International Access
TerpTrade is operated for United States business use. If you access TerpTrade from another location, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and that cannabis-related services may not be lawful in your jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update this policy as TerpTrade changes or as legal, operational, or security requirements evolve. The effective date above shows when this version was last updated. Material changes may be announced in the app, by email, or through another reasonable method.
